Local Tree Care, Done Right
The Best Tree Guys are tree care professionals serving homeowners and property managers throughout the southwest Chicago suburbs and the Chicago suburbs. Tree removal, trimming, stump grinding, storm cleanup, and lot clearing — that’s all we do, and we do it safely.
Tree work is one of the most dangerous jobs in home services. This company was built around doing it the right way: careful work, clear communication, and straightforward pricing.
What We Believe
Safety first, always. No shortcut is worth an injury or a damaged home. Ask any company you hire how they handle the difficult ones near houses and power lines — proper rigging and controlled techniques matter.
Straightforward answers. If a tree can be saved with pruning, that’s worth hearing. If it needs to come down, you deserve to know why. Ask for a plain-language explanation during the estimate — no pressure.
Ask what’s included. A reputable service puts cleanup, hauling, and what’s left behind in writing. Ask what’s included: reputable tree services list cleanup in the written quote.
Local accountability. We work in the southwest Chicago suburbs every day. local companies answer to their neighbors.
Our Services
- Tree removal — safe removal of dead, diseased, or hazardous trees
- Tree trimming and pruning — crown work that keeps trees healthy and property safe
- Stump grinding — ask what’s included in the quote, such as how far below grade the stump goes and whether cleanup and hauling are covered.
- Emergency storm service — emergency help for storm damage
- Land and lot clearing — from overgrown lots to build-ready land
Why Local Matters
Tree care isn’t the same everywhere. The Chicago suburbs get severe thunderstorms, ice storms, and heavy snow loads that punish weak limbs and unstable trees. The oak, maple, and ash trees common across the Midwest each have their own vulnerabilities — from emerald ash borer to storm-brittle branch structures.
We work in the southwest Chicago suburbs every day. We know what the local weather does to trees, which problems are urgent and which can wait, and what the municipalities around here require. That local knowledge is part of what you’re paying for.
Our Process
The same straightforward process applies to work of any size:
Free estimate. Request one and get the work explained. Written price. Ask for a clear number in writing before anything starts. No surprises. Safe, professional work. Ask how the job will be done safely before it starts. Complete cleanup. Ask what’s included — reputable tree services typically list cleanup and debris hauling in the written quote.
No pressure, no upselling.
